BIO

Mike Wijdenbosch is a Dutch actor, filmmaker and Dungeon Master based in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Los Angeles (United States).

He is of Surinamese-African, Indonesian and Dutch decent. Like a panda; black, white and Asian. Having received training from professionals like Katrien van Beurden and Monique Hendrickx, he has been active in different areas of the theater, film and television industry for several years. His approach as an actor is physical and sociolinguistic, and his work as a creator emphasizes psychology and existentialism.

Mike has starred in Dutch productions like Red Light, Mocro Maffia, Penoza and The Take Over, and he wrote, directed and starred in the short film A Time Of Innocence and other short projects, both English- and Dutch-spoken. Training for years in Jiu-jitsu, Aiki-Jitsu, Kempo, Krav Maga and Wushu styles, Mike honed his physical performance skills early in his career and has dedicated recent years to performing in several physical theatre productions as well as operas at The Dutch National Opera and Opera2Day as a physical performer.

Mike speaks British RP, US English and Dutch all at native level and fluent French and descent German. Recently he has made headway as a voice actor by providing voices for Rusty Lake’s video games Underground Blossom and recently Servant Of The Lake, of which a trailer exhibited his voice worldwide during the Gamescom New Games Show of 2025.

As a Dungeon Master, Mike has run several Dungeons And Dragons campaigns. He runs sessions for clients like Spotify and initiated the Dobbelgangers foundation, organizing play sessions and workshops at Heroes Dutch Comic-Com and Heroes Made In Asia, among others.

On the side, Mike likes to slow-cook his screenplays for the mini-series The Elder Ray (Dutch title: De Oerrog) and the feature film Marianen.
